Following is the related announcement made by the CIHR Institute of Genetics\n\nCIHR Institute of Genetics announcement - Innovative Therapeutic Approaches for Rare Diseases\n\nOn behalf of the CIHR Institute of Genetics, I am pleased to announce that the 2014 \"Development of Innovative Therapeutic Approaches for Rare Diseases\" Joint Transnational Call has been launched by E-Rare-2<\/a>:\n\nOur participation in this program provides Canadian investigators the opportunity to work with their European colleagues to build an interdisciplinary, multilateral research project based on complementarities and sharing of expertise, with a clear translational research approach.
