As part of the ” Large -scale Applied Research 2012 Competition” launched by Genome Canada, the Foundation of Ataxia Charlevoix-Saguenay will provide financial support to the project of Dr. Kym Boycott of the University of Ottawa which is competing for grant funding under this competition. Dr. Boycott’s project entitled “Enhanced RARE CARE for Genetic Diseases in Canada” includes a component on identifying treatments for ARSACS. The contest results will be announced in December 2012.
