We are  grateful to one amazing family from the United Kingdom and their community for organizing a creative fundraiser in support of ARSACS research.

Inspired by their son’s ARSACS diagnosis earlier this year, they brought together family, friends, and a local football team for a fun-filled day of raft building and racing. They also held a tombola and thanks to their enthusiasm and the generosity of everyone who participated, they raised an incredible £1,500 (CA$ 2773) for the Ataxia Charlevoix-Saguenay Foundation. The Foundation acknowledges receipt of the funds.

Every fundraising initiative, big or small, helps advance research and brings us closer to better treatments for people living with ARSACS.

To this wonderful family in the UK—and to everyone who took part, donated, or cheered them on—thank you. Your kindness, determination, and community spirit are making a real difference.
