Using Prime Editing to Correct the Genetic Mutation Responsible for ARSACS – Dr. Tremblay

The goal of their project is to develop a new approach that could directly correct the genetic error responsible for the disease. The researchers will use a recent technology called Prime Editing, which acts somewhat like a spell checker for DNA. Its role is to replace an incorrect letter in the genetic code.
